Biba Benjamin

Ms. Benjamin, who resides in Lancaster, is the pianist for Franklin and Marshall College Chorus and the Lancaster Symphony Chorus as well as the staff accompanist at Franklin and Marshall College. In addition she is Artist in Residence at Temple University's Boyer College of Music. For the past ten years she has been the music director at Columbia Presbyterian Church. She teaches piano privately at her studio in Lancaster.


A native Philadelphian, Benjamin received her training from Eleanor Sokoloff. While a student, she was twice a soloist with the Philadelphia Orchestra and received a certificate for attending the Fountainebleu Conservatory. She graduated for the Peabody Conservatory and studied with the renowned Leon Fleisher. She went on to earn a master's degree in accompanying and chamber music.
