A native of Lancaster County, oboist Lauren Fairfull holds dual bachelor’s degrees in music performance and education from West Chester University and a Master’s degree in music performance from The Peabody Conservatory of The Johns Hopkins University for which she was awarded a full scholarship. During her time at these institutions Ms. Fairfull performed in many ensembles as principle oboist and featured soloist. She has embarked on several orchestral and chamber tours throughout Europe and the States, which included performances at Carnegie Hall in New York City and The Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. She is currently the second oboist and English Horn of the Liberty Wind Symphony in Philadelphia while performing with local groups; Lancaster and Hershey Symphonies, Pennsylvania Philharmonic, Pennsylvania Regional Ballet with the Harrisburg Symphony, and Allegro Orchestra of Lancaster. Ms. Fairfull resides in Lancaster, manages a successful jewelry boutique and is actively establishing a freelance career.
